Florence Italy Sights
The sights in Florence can be considered second to know. The city is divided in half along the Arno River with places to visit all along the river. There a variety of bridges that cross the river with many of them having history all to themselves. The Ponte Vecchio being the most famous but many the most awe inspiring is the Ponte Dell Grazie which at sunset looks like it is glowing gold from a distance.

The Museum scene is Florence is exceptional varying from Italian artists to some of the greatest works from the Renaissance area from all over the world located within its boundaries. For an all in one spot try the Pitti Palace that is located on the south part of the Arno River. There is a collection of several museums including the Palatine Gallery, Royal Apartments, Modern Art Gallery and Grand Ducal Treasures.
Not only in the museums is there a wonderful amount of things to see. Throughout the city there a variety of landmarks that should not be missed. The Belvedere Fort is a great place to stop for those with the action minds at heart. Also do not miss out the Piazza della Signoria which is considered the heart of Florence.
There is an abundance of sites to behold in Florence. So many that you might never stop on your trip but I’m assuming that’s okay with most.
